Hi, I’m Ryan, founder of In Pursuit of Fatherhood.

I’ve spent over 15 years coaching everyone from professional rugby players to stunt drivers, and now, I’m also a proud dad.

As my little one came into the world, I became very aware of the gaps left by growing up without my own father around. I knew I had some big shoes to fill and no blueprint to follow.

Eventually it clicked: I’d spent years helping athletes reach their best using proven strategies for improvement and lasting change — why not use the same approach in fatherhood?

And that’s why I started this site — to track that journey and share what I’ve learned other dads on the same path.
